Small on purpose.
We chose to stay small so we could stay close. A founder's first company is too important to hand to a call centre, and the difference between a deck that raises and one that doesn't is usually attention — the kind only senior people with time can give. We take on fewer founders and go deeper with each. That's the trade, and we'd make it every time.
